2006 NFL Draft - the Green Bay Packers select….

Today’s the big day!Â Just a couple weeks ago everyone (local sportstalk guys) was sure Mario Williams was going to be the Packers choice.Â D’oh!Â Turns out he got signed before the draft even started - the Texans announced their selection and his signing yesterday.Â Who’s it going to be?Â AJ Hawk?Â Will both Vince Young and Matt Leinart be around when they get to the Packers first pick (pick #5 overall)?Â Does this make Aaron Rodgers look like the red-headed stepchild nobody wants?Â Kid hasn’t even had a chance.
What to do.

I’m going to the store for some nachos to prep for the man soap opera that is the 2006 NFL Draft.Â I’ll give you my knucklehead opinion on Day 1 picks later.
