Junior Seau, the twelve-time pro bowl linebacker who just five days ago announced his graduation from football, just got a call from the principal. Seems there’s a problem with the transcripts and he needs to play a bit more football before he can officially join his graduating class. With Tedy Bruschi out with a broken hand and Willie McGinest an exPatriot, Belichick’s classroom had an empty seat to fill.
I knew his grades had been bad lately…
Seau began his long career with the Bolts, and as the Charger’s front office saw his productivity decrease and brittleness increase, they shipped him off to Miami in 2003, where he played a few more years, but ultimately got cut during this training camp.
So it looks like Seau has some remedial classwork he needs to get to. I hope the teacher’s hot.
