In scouring the web for truly unique information about the Green Bay Packers I found a site that’s been around for a few years, detailing the Packer’s player salaries and how they stack up against the cap. Clearly this guy has put a ton of work into the cap table, and I find it a pretty interesting read, seeing who gets paid what. There were even a few surprises in there.

So if you’re looking for some good salary cap information to serve as companions to your Magic 8 Ball and Ouiga Board to determine what moves the Pack might make next, this is a great place to go.

Today the grand experiment ended.

Drafted in the third round of the 2004 draft, BJ Sanders selection by Mike Sherman caused a few snorts and chortles around the war rooms of the NFL on draft day and at every watercooler from Green Bay down to Milwaukee. The thought was the Packers were just a few players away from getting back to the Big Dance, and one of those players was a punter.  Draft a good one and you’re that much closer.  But kickers in football are like pitchers in baseball; they are about 3 steps closer (more…)

I don’t know whether or not I called for the Pack to take a beating at the hands of the Falcons, but I know I thought it.

So I’d better own it.
