Looking at the Packer matchup this week it’s hard for me to get too excited about what the outcome might be. It. is. gonna. be. butt. ugly.
So instead of analysis of this game I thought I’d add a new weekly feature - my straight-up picks across the NFL. This is for entertainment purposes only, but I do have a friend who said he’ll be placing money on my picks.
So without further ado, here are my picks (winners are bold):
Arizona at Atlanta
Dallas at Tennessee
Indianapolis at N.Y. Jets - My upset pick of the week
Miami at Houston - The Texans aren’t very good, but neither are the Fins
Minnesota at Buffalo - Isn’t it time for the annual mid-season Minnesota collapse?
New Orleans at Carolina - Saints exposed as human
San Diego at Baltimore - Rivers is good, but McNair is battle-tested
San Francisco at Kansas City
Detroit at St. Louis
Cleveland at Oakland - Moss might be able to pull a rabbit family out of that lettuce patch, but not a win
Jacksonville at Washington - Jacksonville are human, too
New England at Cincinnati I can’t see New England taking it in the pouch again, but damn, Cinci is good.
Seattle at Chicago - I’m betting Holmgren remembers how to beat NFC Norris teams
Green Bay at Philadelphia Sorry, Wisconsin - the Pack will get beat-down number one of the 2006 season on Monday night (with at least 3 more coming)
Previous week picks (placed on other sites):
Week 3: 10-4
Week 2: 12-4
