Regarding my previous post, asking which Packer team would show up, the young but learning, hungry Packer team or the rudderless team led by a few aging (dare I say crumbling?) veterans: I think we have the answer.
The Cardinals, who just a week before gave the Bears the biggest test of the season to date, looked like they were up against the Packers of the mid-90’s; forearm shivers and cleats on chests, the Packers offense going where they wanted, when they wanted. (more…)

I don’t quite know what Denny Green meant when his piehole-turned-volcano spewed about how the Bears were who he thought they were. I’m guessing he meant something along the lines of putting on their jocks one leg at a time (and that’s a regular size jock, not XXL, thank you very much), stuff like that. (more…)
