I don’t quite know what Denny Green meant when his piehole-turned-volcano spewed about how the Bears were who he thought they were. I’m guessing he meant something along the lines of putting on their jocks one leg at a time (and that’s a regular size jock, not XXL, thank you very much), stuff like that.

With the Cardinals making a stop at Lambeau this week, I have to wonder: Are the Packers who we think they are?

I guess that depends on who you ask. Are the Green Bay Packers a young team trying to quickly learn a new system, getting better with each game?

Yup.

Are they a team trying desperately to recall and relive the glory days of years gone by without the benefit of expert leadership and probowl talent?

Yup.

So which team is going to show up today? The team that is young and hungry, or the one that looks old and rudderless?

Whoever shows, know that Denny Green has ‘em pegged. Maybe he’ll be kind enough to let us off the hook, too.
