Let’s be honest with each other. No handicapper with full mental capacity would have picked the outcomes of last week’s games. Among a group of people I make picks with, many got 3-5 right. Monkeys training for the space program in the 60’s did a better job of piloting mock spacecraft at 3G’s than I did making picks last week.

So under the crush of overthinking things like a leaf crumpled under the foot of an elite back or how a McDonald’s clerk giving a funny look to an offensive lineman may have affected him when he ordered 4 double quarter-pounders and a diet Coke, I need a cleansing breath this week. (more…)

It appears that the move to bring Koren Robinson into Green Bay is paying off big.  If by paying off big you mean not at all.  Just as the trading deadline expires, the NFL front office told Mr. Robinson that he’ll have to sit down for a year after he was caught driving around the neighborhood at 100 mph full of sauce.

I guess this was a move where we had nothing to lose.

Good thing; we just lost it.
