I promise not to make any lame jokes about how Ahman Green is guaranteed not to fumble this week. No funny business. Just picks. Last week I went 10-4, so I have some ground to make up.

Buffalo at Detroit - The Lions celebrate pulling the Packers into the NFC Central cellar with them with this week’s win.
Carolina at Baltimore - The Ravens will want to prove they can beat good teams…especially since they didn’t do it last week. (more…)

Ahmad Carroll, also known as “Highway 28″ (for his willingness to give speedy receivers an open stretch of raod to the endzone), has found a new home in Jacksonville. I’m not sure how their scouting reports didn’t turn up the boxing glove practices or the all-too-frequent shots of receivers sprinting to the endzone with Carroll following a polite five steps behind. During some recent internet travels I stumbled upon an Ahman Green figurine at Amazon.com, and it hit me.
There it was.
Cast in high-density plastic resin.
Corroborating evidence that this 4-time pro-bowler doesn’t know how to carry the ball. Look at how that ball is just dangling out there, begging for someone to come by and borrow it for about 65 yards.
Even Wikipedia knows Ahman Green can’t hang onto the ball. (more…)
