Robert Ferguson has a new home in the Land of Mediocrity: the Minnesota Vikings.

From USA Today:

…the rival Vikings have been sorely lacking accomplished and reliable receivers since Randy Moss was traded before the 2005 season, so Ferguson was a natural fit.

Let me read this again, slowly. The Vikings have been lacking in accomplished and reliable receivers. So they hired Ferguson? “Mr. I-Dream-Someday-I’ll-Catch-40-Balls-In-A-Season”? Look at the stats.

I’m sure Ferguson will be all fired up and whatnot about playing against his former team, letting girls like Ryan Longwell get in his ear and talk about how poopy the Packers were, and how in Minnesota you’re much better off playing for a first-time head coach and a team that has never won the big game.

That’s right, Ryan. Losing breeds winning. I think you should put that on a poster that every Viking player has to pass under to get to the field. You know, for motivation.

Good luck, Fergie. But please watch out: Atari “The Gamer” Bigby hits like a *ucking truck, and he might be the first thing you see on your routes across the middle. Then again it might be A.J. “Did Someone Say Piñata?” Hawk.
