Watching one of the local Packers shows this week, the guest was coach Mike McCarthy, who when asked about whether to play the starters or give them some rest against the Lions in a game that has no impact on the playoffs, McCarthy indicated that he might be inclined to lean toward the general vicinity of having everyone more rested for the playoffs.
I’m sure the starters will start, but it’ll be treated like a preseasoner.
But don’t tell that to the Lions, who feel they have something to prove, even if they can’t be spoilers at this point.
Then again, they are a dome team, and right at this moment it’s snowing here.
Then again again, the Packers played like a dome team last week.
