Weekly Picks

I’ve taken my picks underground the last few weeks, but I’m posting them this week.  Vegas had called, telling me I was screwing up their oddsmakers, because so much money was being laid down according to my picks.

Screw Vegas.

The world has a right to these picks (for better or worse).

Winners are bold:

New York Jets @ Dallas
Indianapolis Colts @ Atlanta Falcons
Houston Texans @ Cleveland Browns
Buffalo @ Jacksonville
Oakland @ Kansas City

Seattle @ St Louis
Washington @ Tampa Bay
New Orleans @ Carolina
Tennessee @ Cincinnati
San Francisco @ Arizona
Baltimore @ San Diego
Denver @ Chicago
Philadelphia @ New England

Cle at Pit
Phi at Was
Atl at Car
StL at N.O.
Buf at Mia - The sun even shines on a dog’s ass some days.
Den at K.C.
Jax at Ten
Min at G.B. - As Kansas City learned, one good hit from Hawk or Bigby and your single biggest weapon can be neutralized. Don’t go banking on the lastest pair of fast feet in the NFC North just yet.
Cin at Bal
Dal at NYG
Det at Ari
Chi at Oak
Ind at S.D.
S.F. at Sea

I placed the previous 2 week’s picks elsewhere on a verifiable location, and will post them shortly. Let’s just say I lost my money in week 8 and won it back in week 9.

I’ve been working on convincing my family on why it’d be a good idea to downsize our house right now. Several straight weeks of bad picks and a lower mortgage payment is sounding pretty good.

Winners are bold:

Bal-Buf
Atl-NO
SF-NYG
NE-Mia - I recall a few years ago, Miami coach Dave Wannstedt was canned (or quit or flipped out or something), Jim Bates was temporarily running the show, New England came in and ran into a last place buzzsaw. I don’t think that’ll be the case this time.
Ten-Hou
TB-Det - A good gut check for Detroit - if they lose, expect a downward spiral.
Ari-Was
KC-Oak
NYJ–Cin
Min-Dal
STL-Sea
Chi-Phi - Philadelphia really isn’t a very good team. Chicago isn’t either, but I think they might be hungrier.
Pit-Den - Time for Denver to stop laying down in their own house.
Ind-Jac
